These cute guys are super-fast and super-easy to crochet, perfect for trying out your new crochet skills. The super bulky chenille yarn means that it works up quickly and feels soft and squishy! You’ll need only basic stitches for this one so you can practice your crochet and have a cute little plushie at the end!

Technical Notes and Tension
Read through the whole pattern first to get the most out of this design.
This pattern uses U.S. crochet terms.
Crochet in continuous spiral rounds, unless specified otherwise. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the last stitch in each round.
This pattern uses a 5.00 mm/H-8 hook, but simply go down a hook size if you can see the stuffing through the stitches.
Make sure you are happy with the placement of the eyes before securing with the backing because you will not be able to remove them later. If intended for a child, embroider the eyes instead of using safety eyes and do not add any detachable parts.
When filling with polyester stuffing, pull apart each large chunk into smaller chunks. This ensures an even distribution of firmness within the amigurumi.
Tension: 2 inches x 2 inches in sc = 8 sts x 8 rows.
Let’s begin crocheting The Three Egos!
Small Ego
Bottom
Using the PINK yarn:
Rnd 1: MR 8 sc (8)
Rnd 2: inc in each st around (16)

FO, and put aside.

Do not break yarn. Insert the 18 mm safety eyes between Rows 5 and 6 of the body (on the opposite side of the body from the stitch marker) about 3 stitches apart. Now you attach the bottom of Small Ego. Holding the bottom piece with the right side (RS) of the crochet facing outward, insert the hook through both loops of the next stitch on the body and through both loops of the last stich of Round 3 of the bottom of Small Ego and complete a sc. Remember to weave in the yarn end of the bottom while you do this. Sc all around the 24 stitches, adding stuffing as you go, to join the bottom to the body. Make sure to add any extra stuffing before you close. FO, and weave in end.
